There's Always More Than One Way to Solve Problems

Fighting, while important, is not the end all be all answer to your woes in Bohemia. If things ever look too tough, or a quest puts you in an impossible position - remember you have options. Just as important as Henry's combat prowess is his speech and charisma too. A lot of time, you may come upon people that can be talked down from an otherwise deadly fight.
In fact, you can get away by not killing almost everyone in the game - so long as you know when to fight and when to talk. If that doesn't work, Henry can also use stealth to his advantage, to steal what you may otherwise have to fight for. Remember in this case that unlike fighting - the less armor the better, as noise and visibility go along way to sneaking past opponents.
Scope Out Combat Situations Before You Engage
Fighting in Kingdom Come and be pretty unforgiving, especially if you are inexperienced, and the enemy outnumbers you. With that in mind, you'll often have the chance to scout impending battles before moving out - so make the most of it.
Not only can long-ranged archery be useful, you can use it to take out attackers long before they get to you, and thin out an otherwise opposing herd of enemies. If archery isn't your thing, stealth can also prove useful - especially in the dead of night when many opponents are more comfortable sleeping and unarmored.

Subterfuge also has its perks. Trying to break through a camp full of Cuman mercenaries? Try dressing up like on and using their masks to pass yourself off as one. When infiltrating camps, you can steal supplies, poison stews, and otherwise make the enemy wish they were dead by the time you fight them for real.
Points of Interest
As you explore the land of Bohemia, keep an eye out for map markers that appear when you reach certain destinations. These places often hold hidden secrets - if your know where to look. Nests are small but distinguishable, and can be dislodged with arrows to reveal expensive trinkets. Grave sites can be dug up with a trusty spade to reveal treasures buried within.
Even if you prefer to fast travel between destinations, your path may uncover new unexplored land, and upon arriving, you can check to see if any points of interest were unlocked during travel.
Dress for Success
People in Bohemia have an eye for taste, and you can use that to your advantage. When trying to persuade unwilling fellows, or haggle your wares at shops - keep in mind that everything revolves around charisma. All the outer layers of clothes you wear - from armor to jewelry - can all add up to make you look more appealing. Fancy noble clothes will impress merchants looking to trade, and deadly weapons and armor can intimidate an otherwise stoic person into spilling secrets.

If you get into some rough fights between trips to town, be sure to wash yourself and clothes at a nearby trough, or you'll risk your dirty looks locking you out of a good deal. For an even better boost, you can sacrifice a bit of coin to go to the baths and come out looking really good.
Steal and Move
When you steal something in Bohemia, there will be a red hand mark next to the item. Inspecting it will also reveal where the item was originally stolen from (or "God Knows Where" if you were really out in the middle of nowhere). Know that the closest towns to the place you stole from can recognize these items, and want nothing to do with them. Yes, even a rabbit you shot in the woods somehow has the Lord of the land's brand on it - don't ask.
To circumvent this, you can either find a local fence willing to buy stolen goods, or you can travel to other towns further away. They'll have no knowledge of the string of crimes you commit elsewhere. Stolen items also fade their notoriety after a few days as people forget - so you can also stash the loot in your bunk and wait until the heat dies down to try selling.
Inter-dimensional Horse and Bed Inventory
When you first arrive at Rattay, you'll find a chest by your bed that you can store items in. This same chest will appear wherever you rent or own more beds, like inns. This allows for movable storage, which is great when you start to acquire lots of loot when traveling but run out of space to carry. Simply stop in at nearby inn for a night and stash your gotten gains, then pull them back out when you arrive a bigger trading hub.
Your horse also has its own mobile inventory, one that you can freely toss items between the two of you - even if your horse isn't right next to you. This is also a lifesaver when hunting or looting enemies and you find yourself over your limit, and you can use your horse as a go-between from your giant chest by your bed to get all the loot to a merchant.
